In the heart of the Petaluma Gap.Corkscrew wine

2008 Sonoma Coast Syrah

2008 provided very concentrated, falvorful wines that
express the vineyards in which they where grown, despite
being a difficult year for growing. Springtime frosts and cold
rains lead to a lighter than average year. Consistently warm
weather throughout summer lead to slow, even ripening.
The decreased yields resulted in very concentrated and
extremely high quality wines, with brilliant flavor and tannin.
The wines of 2008 express their distinctive sites and
qualities in a very intense and focused manner: this is truly
a vintage for the cellars, with great aging potential for years
to come.

2009 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

2009 was the opposite of 2008. Bud’s broke early in March
and the frost stayed away. The summer consisted of cooler
than normal weather but delayed rains allowed grapes to
ripen until late September.
This prolonged ripening allowed for more complex flavors
and richer tannin structure. These wines will undoubtedly
compete strongly with the outstanding 2007 vintage.
